To check your coordinates in Minecraft, press F3.

You’ll be met with a screen that looks like this:

The location of your coordinates is highlighted in the screenshot above - they’re the X/Y/Z values near the top left.

This is your placement in the world. Move around to see how the coordinates change. The middle number, your “y” axis, is where you are in the height of the map. The other two numbers, your “x” and “z” axis, refer to your exact spot on the map.

Tips

• There are many third party mods you can use to display your coordinates at all times, I suggest using Google to learn how to install these.
• Coordinates of your base should be kept secret, since this server allows griefing!
• Many players will leave out the “y” when giving coordinates, since it’s usually not important.
